Sports Commission to host 2nd annual Duck 'N Dodge dodgeball tournament
A dodgeball tour that is owned in part by the Greater Columbus Sports Commission will make its second stop in Columbus in February.
The 2008 Duck 'N Dodge National Dodgeball Tour will also make tour stops this year in San Antonio, Detroit, Richmond, Va., and Cleveland.
The Columbus tour stop will be held on Feb. 23, 2007, at the Sports Barn at Easton, 3599 Chiller Ln.
The Duck 'N Dodge National Dodgeball Tour is the first collaboration between the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and other commissions to create their own sporting event.
"We are very proud to be involved in the creation of the Duck 'N Dodge tour and we look forward to hosting our second tournament in February," said Linda Logan, executive director of the Greater Columbus Sports Commission. "It will be very important for the future of sports commissions to have the ability to create and own events, so this is a big step for us to continue to be a part of the charter group for the Duck 'N Dodge National Dodgeball Tour."
