Time Warner Cable to Present 2008 Columbus Arts Festival

The Greater Columbus Arts Council is proud to announce that Time Warner Cable will be the presenting sponsor of the Columbus Arts Festival starting in 2008.

A longtime media sponsor, Time Warner Cable will present the Columbus Arts Festival through 2010.

"Time Warner Cable has been an exemplary media partner to the Columbus Arts Festival, and we look forward to expanding our relationship as we head into 2008," said Katie Lucas, Columbus Arts Festival Director.

Also in 2008, the Columbus Arts Festival will relocate from its current home along the downtown riverfront to the Discovery District, near the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus State Community College and the Columbus Museum of Art. The 2008 Columbus Arts Festival will take place June 6-8.

Begun in 1962 as the "Downtown Festival of the Arts" on the Ohio Statehouse lawn, the Columbus Arts Festival showcases the best visual arts, music, poetry and local food for three days each summer to a crowd of more than 250,000 people each year. Strolling musicians and entertainers and a relaxed, gallery-like setting provide the perfect ambiance for browsing and buying the best selection of art.
