GCAC Awards Over $40,000 To Area Organizations Through Franklin County Neighborhood Arts Program

The Greater Columbus Arts Council awarded a total of $41,246 to 30 organizations during its 3rd round of grants for the 2006 Franklin County Neighborhood Arts program, an initiative designed to increase community participation in the arts throughout Franklin County. ArtZine Wins National Award

WOSU TV's ArtZine, sponsored by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, took top honors in January at the 2007 National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) conference in Norfolk, Va. ArtZine, an arts television show produced by WOSU Public Media with the support of GCAC, won an award in the large market information programming category.   Full Story »
